Safravo Ltd builds DawaSmart: one platform used by pharmacies, clinics and hospitals across Kenya. The hospital edition on this site is the same product, implemented on site and supported under a service agreement.
Why DawaSmart
We started in the pharmacy, where stock has to reconcile to the tablet.
DawaSmart began as pharmacy software: dispensing by batch, expiry control, M-Pesa at the counter, receipts by SMS. That discipline, where every movement must be traceable, carried into the clinical and hospital modules. The result is a hospital system whose pharmacy and billing were not bolted on afterwards.
The platform is built and supported from Nairobi by a team that visits facilities, trains on site and answers the phone.
